low voltage power pack

This is the 4th power pack I've had to order. It seems that the timer quits working or it gets a short inside after a 3 or 4 year period. The product is excellent but work needs to be done on making them last longer. I realize it runs 24/7 but I have other things that run 24/7 also and they don't die in 3 or 4 years. It is not overloaded but indeed under the rated capacity. Hope Intermatic gets this and works on improving their already good product.More detail ...

Bright as expected- Good Value

These are as bright as I would expect from solar charged LEDs brighter than most others I've seen. They have no affect on a night with a bright full moon. But when it's pitch black out they make a huge difference. They make my front walk and steps safe. I put aluminum foil inside of one half and inside the top to reflect more light on the walkway. The charge will last at least a few hours from indirect sun and the lights stay bright for long into the night if they are in full sun. They're easy to install and easy to get apart if you have to work on them. It looks like the rechargeable AA battery inside could be replaced if it ever needed to be. I had the Hampton Bay 300 watt model....DO NOT BUY HAMPTON BAY TRANSFORMERS. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY BAD AND THERE IS NOT EVEN ANY WARRANTY OR CUSTOMER SERVICE INFO IN WITH THE PRODUCT as I found out when it broke and going to Home Depot for help was a joke. Anyway I am happy so far with the Malibu and it seems that it has a bigger transformer than the Hampton and the overall construction is better.
